Just got a $35.20 from Shopify as an Affiliate Payment! $35.20 is not a big amount but it’s big deal for me. Adding a single dollar in my passive income excites me and Shopify pays 20% recurring commission to the Affiliates. Wish me for my journey towards good Passive Income!

Now what about their Online Campaigns? No one can ignore Internet these days. Right?

OK, so I like the way they are using Facebook. Their Facebook is campaign is really helping to build their new Brand.  They have a very powerful brand online and we expect the same online.

Welcome to the power of Social Advertisement.

Around 60K likes and good number of engaged fans. Not bad! Spend more money on Facebook, Hero!

But I don’t understand why they have this for Facebook Welcome page.

Why they are sending visitors to their website? They can make their page  interesting and it’ll result in more fans. God knows, what’s in their mind?

OK. Now what about Google? Yes, they have some ads running on Google Search.

I haven’t seen any Display Advertising for Hero yet. I find display advertising more powerful for brand development. The flashy ads, cool animations or videos makes me ‘want to click’.

I hate the way they are ignoring Yahoo and Bing. No ads, even not ranked at top for their branded keywords.

Just kidding about hate, who really uses Yahoo and Bing in India? But they should at least rank at highest. Top ranking matters!

Update: I forgot about Twitter. They have miserable presence on Twitter. Only 288 followers! My dear Hero, Twitter trends is necessary for Branding.

But, what about the latest Blackberry Messenger Campaign? I saw an ad for Blackberry Messenger service and it was offering from Airtel. I opened the page and found some very cool videos (Even copied from Blackberry site but it was great though).

You can say, I was impressed and influenced. So, now the time for taking action.

Viola!  All I can fill the form and they’ll call me. Sounds, OK to you?

No, Not to me. I need something more. I want to know more about the related service (Blackberry or Blackberry Messenger package) before I take any action.

So If you’re promoting a campaign, you should answer every possible questions. How are you going to differentiate your services from other? What are the packages? What are the advantages?

So, I just can’t fill the form for one more sales call. Sorry Airtel!

The main intention behind every search is to find the ‘best solution’. Work towards it!

Help people for common problems in your niche. Tell them how your products or services a boon for them.

For helping people, you can do following tasks:-

1. Respond to the customers (Offer excellent support via multiple mediums)
2. Offer quality articles via Blog.
3. Target people on Twitter/Facebook and other social media
4. Offer Newsletters.
5. Answer people on Q&A sites like Quora or other forums

Create Buzz all around:-

The more world will talk about you, the much it’ll your business. Many companies use the following method for generating buzz.

1. Launch Unique & interesting campaigns to engage people. Help it become a viral. (Eg. Crash the Super Boul)
2. Use of multi-marketing  (Search Engine optimization, Press Releases, Advertisements, Social Media, Video Distributions etc)
3. Building connections and spreading reach everyday (meetup, interviews, link sharing, guest blogging etc).

Focus on multiple Goals and respective funnels

Even if ‘Revenue Generation’ is the goal for any business and only ‘sales’ helps here but you should focus on more than sales only.

‘The Goal is to convert users into higher engagement level always‘.

Sale occurring isn’t one time phenomenon always. Someone just don’t buy from you instantly. They influence by other non-sales activities.

So, always focus on converting new visitors into regular visitors, occasional blog readers into subscribers, regular visitor into leads, leads into sales and sales into multiple sales.

Well, I was happy and I thought Knol is going to rock. No more About.com, WikiPedia or any ezines. I have the power to publish like them and I will earn too. The sky looked very near.

OK, so this idea existed for 3 months. I backed to the normal Blogging and almost forgot Knol. My recent love with Ezinearticles forced me to do the little search about Knol and here is the piece.

You want to make passive income. You want to make a system which will bring you money without your efforts. Mini Sites help here.

Mini sites, as the name suggests, are the sites with fewer contents and focused on very specific topic or niche. Marketers use mini sites to build list, sell product or to earn using Affiliate Marketing or Ads.

How can you build your own mini sites? The building process is very simple. You can even make a mini site in a week, all by yourself. But they will make money, if and if only, you promote them effectively.

Think about your Expertise or Hobbies

Apply Data Driven Approach for optimizing your site more. Use Analytics Tools, Optimization Tools and always optimize the site according to indicators.

So, It was all about building Mini Sites. They will need you at the their first stages but your involvement will be lesser as you move toward the next stages.
