‘Hum Mein hai Hero’, The tune is being played on almost every Indian television channels. A.R. Rahman’s music and motivating video, I like ‘Hum Mein hai Hero’ Advertisement.
Now what about their Online Campaigns? No one can ignore Internet these days. Right?
OK, so I like the way they are using Facebook. Their Facebook campaign is really helping to build the new Brand. They have a very powerful brand offline and we expect the same online.
Welcome to the power of Social Advertisement!

Around 60K likes and good number of engaged fans. Not bad! Hero, Spend more money on Facebook!
But I don’t understand why they have this for their Facebook Welcome page.
Why they are sending visitors to their website? They can make their Facebook page more interesting and it’ll result in more fans. God knows, what’s in their mind?
OK. Now what about Google? Yes, they have some ads running on Google Search.

I haven’t seen any Display Advertising for Hero yet. I find display advertising more powerful for brand development. The flashy ads, cool animations or videos makes me ‘want to click’.
I hate the way they are ignoring Yahoo and Bing. No ads, even not ranked at top for their branded keywords.
Hero Motocorp on Bing
Hero MotoCorp on Yahoo
OK I’m kidding about hate, who really uses Yahoo and Bing in India?
But they should at least rank at first place for branded keywords. Top ranking matters!
Update: I forgot about Twitter. They have miserable presence on Twitter. Only 288 followers! My dear Hero, Twitter trend is necessary for Branding.
What do you think about Hero MotoCorp campaign? Do you like the new name or tag line?
